Wes Anderson Tribute: ‘Bad Dads’ Comes to SF
Wednesday October 27, 2010 |
![]() Beloved filmmaker Wes Anderson is the source of inspiration behind the Bad Dads art show tribute. This group exhibit opens this Saturday with a special Halloween themed party.
The name of the show alludes to the fact that nearly every Wes Anderson character has family issues, notably father issues. Each artist has picked a different character to reinterpret, making for a fun walk through some of our favorite films from the past few years.
The show will debut with a special Halloween party on Saturday, October 30th at San Francisco’s new art space, LoPo Gallery.
The will offer limited edition prints, a full bar (making this event 21+ only), and a set by SF's DJ Theory.
Original artwork and prints will be made available after the opening through the Spoke Art online.
