The place we call home is Noferin’s second solo exhibition at Copro Gallery, opening Saturday, September 5th, 2009. “It has been a lot of work getting this body of art together: two relocations (one interstate) and the birth of our daughter have had a huge impact on our time management,” the art duo state.

“Since the birth of our daughter and the return to our home city, our direction and vision of Carrara Island has become much stronger. A few new faces have appeared in this recent body of work, bringing with them new chapters of our perpetual narrative.

“Noferin has drawn inspiration from Japanese woodblock artists, Hiroshige and Hokusai; the incredible landscape of Sydney’s Northern Beaches; our daughter Poppy; and the Pecanpal Chronicles stories that we continue to write.”

The place we call home opens Saturday, September 5th, 2009 at Copro Gallery in Los Angeles.
