The Latest from Ted Vasin
Saturday September 04, 2010 |
![]() Ted Vasin has seen a productive year, and his very latest pieces exhibit an attention to detail rarely seen in graphite and acrylic canvases. Born in Moscow (his father was also a painter) Vasin cites Russian icons as an influence, but we also see newer references to American culture in these recent paintings.
The artist is now based in San Francisco and has been widely exhibited and covered over the past decade.
From guns to embroidered patches, Vasin’s hyper-realistic mixed media works show a breadth of talent indicative of countless hours perfecting his technique.
