Broken Bells is The Shins’ James Mercer and Danger Mouse aka Brian Burton’s new music collaboration [be sure to read our interview with album artwork designer Jacob Escobedo here].

Their self-titled debut album blew us away (along with the rest of the world). This new video is for the track The Ghost Inside and offers a haunting look at a beautiful and adventurous woman willing to sell her own body parts to pursue her dreams of visiting another planet.

The video’s narrative is enthralling and, combined with the bouncing keyboard rhythm and James’ falsetto singing, it’s hard to watch just once.
