
We often think of concrete only for sidewalks, but The Eva Presenhuber House in the small town of Vna, Switzerland proves it can be used to aid architectural feats.
Built almost completely of concrete, the exterior form seems carved from a solid block; the small angles that deform the facade create a subtle complexity that breaks down the monolithic shape of the house.
However looming the outside may seem, the interior is unexpectedly bright, utilizing natural light form large windows and open space. We just wonder how warm concrete can be in the Swiss mountains...
