The Dirty and the Fabulous
Tuesday August 18, 2009

Oklahoma based artist The Dirty Fabulous mixes classic influences with a modern twist. At first glance, his works may seem digital; but make no mistake: this is all acrylic paint, ink and other mixed media on watercolor paper. This talented, dirty, and oh-so fabulous creator has kept us abreast of his latest.

This new piece, Horseman of the Apocalypse, is 60″ x 40″ acrylic on metal. We think his style is slightly reminiscent of our founder, Robert Williams’.

“It's a re-take on some of the prints by Albrecht Durer,” The Dirty Fabulous states. “I chronicled the progress of the whole work on my blog, as I'll be doing with the next work. I'll be making postcards of this image too.”
