Rich Tu is a New York-based artist who has created, commented, accented and represented humor and life through his illustrations. His style is clean and evanescent of a Japanese style painting, utilizing a simple pallet of tones. Rich works with popular publications such as The New Yorker, The New York Times, SWINDLE Quarterly, SLAM and even National Public Radio, accenting their editorial work. You'll find his Illustrations over photographs, on woman's panties and lighting up the walls of New York Galleries. He has been commissioned by G-shock watches, Bombay Sapphire gin and created official art for Alfa Romeo. The simple yet emotive personality of his illustrations has been recognized through a growing stack of awards. You can't help but enjoy the work of Rich Tu.

Rich has a couple short graphic novels, which can be seen on his website (richtu.com) and he maintains a blog, keeping his fans involved with things he likes, sees and is currently working on. Recently he collaborated with New York Times writer Theodore Ross, creating illustration for a 4-part non-fiction series "Townies”, where Theodore discusses the ins and outs of his life, especially around marriage and journalism.
