Tuesday July 20, 2010 |
![]() Any San Franciscan will get a kick out of photographer Ted Pushinsky’s (Juxtapoz #88) new book, (415). The infamous area code of this city has long been a mark of proud SF natives and locals, and Puchinsky’s images take us on a mind-bending trip back through the decades of the vibrant city. Ted Pushinsky is a Hamburger Eyes VIP. For anyone who knows anything about photography, this should mean something, as Hamburger Eyes are a collective of some of the best photographers we know and call friends.
In (415) the artist collects decades worth of images taken in his home city, from classic hip-hop kids chillin on front steps to the racy goings-on at the infamous Folsom Street Fair, Pushinsky’s images are a wonderful look back at the city through the lens of an attentive and talented photographer.
