Tate Modern Project x Concrete Hermit
Tuesday July 28, 2009

East London’s Concrete Hermit has been championing the work of contemporary illustrators and graphic designers since it opened in 2007. Artists like Ian Stevenson, Eboy, Jon Slade, Kate Moross and many more have been creating exclusive graphics for Concrete Hermit, which eventually caught the eye of the Tate Modern Museum.

Artists commissioned for a Tate Modern Project series are Anthony Burrill, Ian Stevenson and Andrew Rae. Their clean graphics make the perfect adornment for tees and graphic novels alike.

A product launch and book signing this Friday July 31st at the Tate Modern in London will be the first place to see the new collaboration. Anthony Burrill, Andrew Rae and Ian Stevenson will be signing copies of their books from 5:30 – 6:30pm.

How nice it is to see that such a highly influential institution such as the Tate picks up on burgeoning talent to design an exclusive line.
