Spray Can Art Mural Gets Blessed During Sunday Mass
Tuesday March 16, 2010 |
![]() Graffiti really has turned a corner because it’s not everyday that a spray-painted mural gets blessed. Caught on video Mark Bode, Dan Plasma and Mike Giant painted the side of the Episcopal Church of St. John, the Evangelist in San Francisco. The church was so happy to get rid of the tagging that they decided to hold a blessing of the mural during Sunday mass. This is probably the first ever blessing of a spray can art mural.
Mark painted the Jesus and the angels, Dan Plasma painted the backgrounds and Mike Giant painted the side of the church down the end of the alley.
