Sneak Peek: Alex Hornest’s Twigs x Sherbet
Sunday July 18, 2010 |
![]() A very literal blending of the natural with his prolific street art background, Sao Paulo’s Alex Hornest, better known as Onesto, is utilizing twigs in a new installation piece against a backdrop of sherbet orange colored paint. Onesto is a legend on the streets of Sao Paulo, His cartoonish images have covered walls for years and it’s interesting to see his work progress in a studio, gallery, or museum venue.
Here are a few in-process images of what he has planned for Transfer. Pretty different from his classic street art, huh? Sticks and twigs look to be a central element here.
