Sigur Rós limited edition print by Conor Langton
Tuesday December 27, 2011 |
![]() In conjunction with the Icelandic band's new DVD release, Inni, Irish artist Conor Langton just released a limited edition print of the famed Sigur Ros. If you aren't recording albums in an emptied swimming pool in some quiet Icelandic village, what are you doing with your band? The print coincides with the release of their much anticipated live DVD - Inni, and was inspired by aspects of the band's 2008 tour, including the stage and costume design. The print, of an original painting, is a return for Langton to the world of illustrating music acts, a position previously held as an illustrator for Rolling Stone magazine while living in New York. It also follows the recent successful issue of two original works as prints, 'When Mao's cousin went to Iceland,' and 'The Icelandic Woman.' Limited Edition Archival Pigment Print on Matt Fine Art Paper. Signed & Numbered by Artist. Image size 35cm x 47cm Paper size 42cm x 59.4cm. Related Articles
