Shepard Fairey Extravaganza
Monday June 04, 2007 |
Shepard Fairey is having a huge solo show / installation / brand-a-thon in NY in a few weeks.
First is the DUMBO Installation Space reception in Brooklyn on Thursday June 21st. The acronym DUMBO stands for "Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass" and describes New York City's old industrial district along the Brooklyn Waterfront between the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges. Go to www.jonathanlevinegallery.com and RSVP and you can go. They'll be sharing a limited supply of the new "money" that Shepard designed. On Saturday, May 23rd, his show at Jonathan LeVine Gallery, E Pluribus Venom, opens with a reception that night from 5-9p featuring new works on canvas, wood, metal and paper. {moscomment} Tags:
