Sea No Evil Art Show
Friday August 21, 2009

The Sea No Evil Art Show returns to Riverside for the third year in a row to benefit the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. This year, more than 60 art pieces donated from noted artists will be up for auction, including original art pieces from Shepard Fairey, Jeff Soto, Dave Kinsey, Gregory Euclide, Mike Stilkey Renee Lawter, Lola, Deph and Chivo, to name a few.

Riverside residents and owners of Monster Media, Derric and Erin Swinfard, are organizing the event once again all in the name of ocean preservation. Last year’s art show drew approximately 2,000 people and raised over $55,000 for the Sea Shepherd organization.

Captain Paul Watson, founder of Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and focus of the Animal Planet’s popular series Whale Wars, will be the featured speaker giving an update on the state of affairs in the oceans of the world.

Crew members from Whale Wars will also be on hand, as well as live performances by Tim Kasher of Cursive and The Good Life, and Shepard Fairey, AKA DJ Diabetic.
