Master Pop-Surrealist Ron English will be having a ginormous solo show, Big Picture Pop, opening this Friday, November 30th at Opera Gallery's NYC digs with a reception starting at 6pm. English's new work is very much a continuation of his pop sensibilities, colorful, satirical, and ripe with socio-political commentary. It's never a disappointment with him, so if you're in the area you should fight the bitter chill and make your way over.
