Rhinestones on Walls: Alexandros Vasmoulakis in Shenzhen

![]() Acrylic, paper, and rhinestones – yes, rhinestones – now grace a large wall in Shenzhen, China. Artist Alexandros Vasmoulakis explains, “It is located in the Dafen Painting Village, (many people call it homeland of kitsch!) and was commissioned by the Dafen Art Museum.” “The Museum invited 15 artists (among them Hitnes, Faith47, Run, Sonik, etc) to paint the walls of its roof garden.” ![]() In progress ![]() Yup, rhinestones ![]() The final piece
