Renegade Craft Fair Comes to Los Angeles

With over 200 of today’s finest indie-art talents from all over the globe descending upon Los Angeles next month, it's safe to say that the Renegade Craft Fair LA is generating quite a buzz.

Join the 2nd Annual Renegade Craft Fair in Los Angeles on July 24 + 25, held outdoors at the Los Angeles State Historic Park (aka The Cornfields, located at 1245 N Spring Street).

 

This free to attend craft, art, design and DIY spectacular will run from 11am – 7pm each day + feature over 200 of today’s finest indie-craft talents from all over the nation.

 

You can expect to find all sorts of handmade goods at the Fair– everything from jewelry and clothing, ceramics and stationery, bath products and rock-posters, housewares and comics, plush objects and more. Located just off the Gold Line Metro’s China Town Station – the Fair is easily accessible by public transportation! Gold Line riders presenting their Metro-ticket stub at the Renegade Craft Fair Welcome Station will receive a free issue of Juxtapoz Art + Culture Magazine while supplies last.

 

Everyone can get to crafting by participating in many workshops + demonstrations at our Hands-On Crafting Hub.

Also not to be missed – DJs from LA’s best independent music sources, KXLU + Amoeba Music, playing all weekend long and you surely can’t forget to get your photo snapped in a free-to-use photobooth provided by The Magnolia Photobooth Co.

 

If you find yourself hungry, you can expect meat, vegetarian and vegan-friendly options available for purchase. Beer and wine will also be for sale.

Currently in it’s 8th year, The Renegade Craft Fair began in Chicago’s Wicker Park and quickly drew the attention of indie-craft makers + enthusiasts from all over the nation. The event now draws tens-of-thousands of shoppers and occurs in 5 cities annually from coast to coast; Chicago (IL), Brooklyn (NY), San Francisco (CA), Los Angeles (CA), and, beginning in 2010, Austin (TX).

 

All Renegade Craft Fair events are organized from Chicago, out of a small storefront opened by Fair organizers in 2007 dedicated to selling handmade merchandise called Renegade Handmade.
