Do-it-yourselfers rejoice! The Renegade Craft Fair begins its West Coast tour this weekend, bringing toys, trinkets, projects, and unlimited inspiration.
The fair will be making it’s first-ever stop in Los Angeles on July 11 + 12 from 11am – 7pm on the top floor of the California Market Center – it’s a craft fair in the sky! Gorgeous 360-degree views of downtown LA will provide the backdrop for Renegade’s first FREE urban art, craft and DIY extravaganza in SoCal!
Each Fair features over 200 artists and craftspeople traveling from all over the country to participate and sell their handmade goods. From clothing and accessories, to stationary and concert posters, with everything from bath products and ceramics in between. Leia Bell will be appearing in both cities, selling her colorful art prints and collectible concert posters. David Murray of SEIBEI will take off time zombie-hunting to make an appearance at each site selling his bright, monster-themed tees. Erin Dollar of I Made You A Beard will be toting her amazing Technicolor felt-beards at both of the West Coast Fairs. Pick up one of those and go incog for the rest of the day.
What began, and continues, in Chicago as a free, alterna-craft-fair option for young artisans and shoppers has grown to become a multi-city craze - with Renegade Craft Fairs also occurring in Brooklyn, San Francisco and Los Angeles. The Renegade Craft Fair is the not-to-miss art and craft shopping event of the summer.
