Pharrel Releases New Design Project: Tank Chair

 Who doesn’t love Pharrell? Dudes like him because he’s got great style; the ladies love him because…well, just look at that face! Collette just hipped us to a brand spanking new video with the hip-hop/style superstar from Paris, where he speaks about his new furniture design project. The Tank Chair with Emmanuel Perrotin is a swift move in a new direction for Pharrell.
While N.E.R.D.’s new album is due to drop early this year, Pharrell is branching out into other industries, other from fashion with Ice Cream and Billionaire Boys Club.
Pharrell has been increasingly involved in the art world, designing chairs with Emmanuel Perrotin. It seems he has drawn inspiration from military tanks and designed a series of chairs with tank wheels in place of legs (take a look at what Pharrell is seated upon in this video).
Simply named The Tank, these chairs come in four colorways, of which the white, baby blue and black.
