Monday December 13, 2010

Patrick Martinez just sent us opening photos, shot by Brandon Shigeta, of the important "Dreams Deferred" show at the Chinese American Museum in Los Angeles. We wrote about the show earlier this month, mentioning it showcased, "artists exploring the tensions, repercussions, hopes, and dreams of immigrant communities in the face of new immigration legislation, through a broad spectrum of art including street art, graffiti art, sculptures, painting and multimedia installations."

Artists in Dreams Deferred include Shepard Fairey, Kofie, Slick, Patrick Martinez, Eriberto Oriol (above), Swank, SharkToof, Eyeone, Ernesto Yerena, and others.

The show runs through May 22, 2011.
