Amy Crehore and Anthony Clarkson took over Thinkspace Gallery this weekend for their respective openings, Dreamgirls & Ukes and The Silent Treatment. Not only did each artist unveil impressive, and very different, collections of new work, but Crehore also treated fans to an hour-long session of live music from her band, The Hokum Scorchers (see them in action in the vid below). Check out more opening night flicks here. If you didn't make it out to the show yourself, take a look at Amy's Dreamgirls & Ukesand Anthony's The Silent Treatment online. You'll be transported to a friendly fantasy world full of animals and flowers with Amy and then ripped back to a harsh and animated reality by Anthony. The effect is quite enjoyable.
Both shows remain on view throughMarch 6th, 2009. More info at www.thinkspacegallery.com
