Ninio Quetzal: New Work in Bogota from Stinkfish
Wednesday January 27, 2010 |
![]() We’ve been getting pretty excited about what has been coming out of Colombia lately. What with Bastardilla lacing the streets with glitter, artist stinkfish* shared a meaningful new piece of his own. Slightly reminiscent of Paul Insect’s work (color scheme, foucs on eyes, and baby imagery), this street mural is the latest from Bogota-based stinkfish*.
"I want to share one of my last walls here in Bogota, is the image of a boy extracted from a photograph taken at Morabia, a slum in northern Medellín (Colombia) currently being destroyed, displaced families live there from different parts of the country, especially from the Pacific coast."
