Having recently relocated back to San Francisco after stints in various parts of California, Hannah Stouffer has found refuge in a new studio located in the highly marginalized Tenderloin district. Her work over the years has been successfully commercialized by clients such as Levi's, Coca-Cola, IBM, Sony, Vans, NY Times, and Disney, among others. Concurrently, Hannah has been actively showing as a gallery artist. Her work can be an assault of imagery: collage-like, decorative, and of late, esthetically dark. Here are some photos from my visit to her new studio.
