It’s Tuesday once again and with that comes Cinema Tuesdays at Nike Sportswear at The Montalbán. They score a slam dunk in September with an advance screening of More Than A Game, on Tuesday, September 29, 2009. 

Curated by Flux, the highly successful film series has featured premieres and advance screenings of some of the most-talked about films including Carlos Cuarón’s Rudo y Cursi, George Tillman Jr’s Notorious, Charlie Kaufman’s Synecdoche, New York, Guy Ritchie’s RocknRolla and Justice documentary A Cross The Universe, and celebrated guests have included Michel Gondry, Thomas Campbell, Seth Rogen, Patricia Arquette, Elijah Wood, Spike Jonze, Wayne Coyne, Busy P and Shirley Manson. Join in for an advance screening of More Than A Game, the highly-anticipated new basketball documentary by filmmaker Kristopher Belman. Released by LIONSGATE, More Than A Game follows LeBron James and the Fab Five from their Akron, Ohio roots to NBA superstardom.

Power 106 personality Jeff Garcia will MC an exclusive rooftop basketball challenge featuring local Los Angeles youth, and the evening will include Nike Sportswear gift bags and refreshments. Following the rooftop event, experience the excitement, action and all-star entertainment on the big screen as The Montalbán transforms into the official court of “King James”, complete with a post-screening Q&A with director Kristopher Belman and producer Harvey Mason Jr. All members of the press are invited to cover this special event at The Montalbán.
