Everyone’s talking about this new Mass: We Pray videogame, utilizing a ridiculous cross with rosary-like chain for Wii. The public’s strong reaction to such a videogame, which urges players to “pray everyday,” actually may be an elaborate guise to introduce the real new videogame from EA, Dante’s Inferno.
The below video has been circulating like mad online today, and with due reason: a new videogame that simulates a church mass does seem to be pushing it. The video views like a real parody, depicting a chipper religiously oriented family happily playing Mass: We Pray. The Pray videogame is supposed to be released Easter 2010. However, Looking at the Mass: We Pray website, it seems as if it may all be an elaborate hoax of sorts by videogame giant, EA.
If you click on any of the links on the Pray site, it takes you to a trailer for their upcoming Dante's Inferno videogame, also set to be released early 2010 (for which the graphics look pretty stunning). We don't know for sure, but this may be one very clever marketing ploy.
In the meantime, enjoy this gem. It is pretty funny.
