As 2009 comes to a close, its nice to see that there are people who are trying to make sure that we can laugh a little at tragedy. Or its disturbing, either/or. We saw this tee from the Brooklyn clothing brand, M. Carter, designed by Milton Carter. Its called the "Faces of Death 2009," and on it you can find the faces of many who have dies this year from the world of popular culture and art. Billy Mays and John Updike were sad reminders, and this must be a pretty up-to-date graphic, because we see Jeanne Claude on here. Didn't that passing just happen?
Milton Carter himself as shown in New York, Miami, and Sweden, and he has a nice blog. We like his bio, too: "Milton Carter is a no-good layabout that occasionally makes something. His clothing brand, M. Carter has been kicking around with varying success since 2003 when he dyed a t-shirt in a garbage can.
