The Spurious Fugitive’s Third Annual Juried Exhibition Le Dans Macabre, curated by artist and Gallery Director Heath Yenna, will open tomorrow, Friday, October 3rd, 2008.
A national call for entries dealing with the macabre has resulted in a group exhibition at The Spurious Fugitive, showcasing seven artists from just about every corner of the country. Talk about grassroots!
Selected artists include: Christopher Andrews from Las Cruces, New Mexico (now in South Bend attending Notre Dame); Jonas Angelet of Silver Springs, Maryland; Charles V Bennett of Clarksville, Tennessee; William Charles Harbort aka Billy Chuck from Minot, North Dakota; Brent E Houzenga of Des Moines, Iowa; David Platt of New York, New York; and Francis Vallejo of Sarasota, Florida. Le Dans Macabre runs through October 26, 2008. Get more info at spuriousfugitive.com
