Juxtapoz Auction Opens for Bidding at 12PM EST Tomorrow

The day is almost here: the grand opening of our Big Payback art auction, benefiting Power House Project of Detroit.

The auction is being run solely online (no live bidding will ensue) at CharityBuzz.com, starting tomorrow, October 28th, 2009 at 12pm Easter Pacific Time (9am Pacific Standard Time).

This event has been months in the making and all auction proceeds will go to a fantastic cause: to purchase homes in Detroit, which artists will restore and make livable to cultivate a sustainable community.

We have asked all our favorite artists (over 100 of them!) to pitch in and donate a piece of artwork to make this possible. So get those credit cards ready to bid on some of the most beautiful artwork we have seen to help a very worth cause. You’ll get some new artwork and rest easy knowing you’re helping cultivate a safer, happier, and more beautiful Detroit.
