Invader Never Can Say Goodbye
Thursday January 28, 2010 |
![]() Remember CDs? How about Tower Records? In a bridge between music and art, No Longer Empty re-opened the legendary former Tower Records downtown NYC storefront with a multi-media art exhibition, entitled: Never Can Say Goodbye. The curators who put the show together selected three of the rubik album covers created by Invader, which were part of his TOP 10 exhibition at Jonathan LeVine Gallery in June 2009.
Combining Invader’s signature pixilated creations with his newfound love of Rubikubism and classic album covers makes for a walk down memory lane with a fresh twist.
The show Never Can Say Goodbye pays homage to the way music used to be as well as the new direction of contemporary art.
