Matthew Feyld is a Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (home of Olympia brewing) based artist. He also has an upcoming solo show at Thinkspace gallery this Friday, simply called Untitled (New Works). How deceptively simple, just like his acrylic paintings.
Feyld’s creative process is a combination of imagination and reality. His work creates an ongoing narrative, often drawn from real events and experiences, leaving a large amount of room for interpretation for the viewer. Ink, watercolor, and acrylic are the tools he uses to create a world where both human and animal share more than just their boots.
