German photographer Robert Voit captures various towers dressed in tree’s clothing.

 

When Voit stumbled upon a website for a company that designs and manufactures disguises for cellphone towers, it grew into a bit of an obsession.

For the past seven years, Voit has traveled around the world photographing these “trees”—specifically designed to match ecologically with their surroundings. His collection of images, Some New Trees, will be shown at the Amador Gallery in New York from January 13-March 6.

We think those fake leafy limbs are a good look for the towers.
