Barbara Kruger finishes rotunda at Schirn in Frankfurt
Wednesday December 15, 2010

November 2010 Juxtapoz cover artist
and new Twitter profile Barbara Kruger just finished a massive installation at the Schirn in Frankfurt, Germany. Kruger will have her work on display at the Schirn through January 30, 2011.

As you may remember from our feature with Kruger, she was planning a few exhibitions in Europe this past Fall, culminating in this presentation in Frankfurt.

One of the phrases visitors will find when they enter the rotunda is: GEWALT LÄSST UNS VERGESSEN, WER WIR SIND. (IN VIOLENCE WE FORGET WHO WE ARE.)

This isn't the first time Kruger has shown at Schirn. For Shopping. A Century of Art and Consumer Culture in 2002, Kruger covered the façade of the Galeria Kaufhof in Frankfurt, Germany’s shopping mile and major pedestrian crossing.
