Bad Dads: A Tribute to Wes Anderson

We don’t know too many people who don’t like Wes Anderson. The talented filmmaker has gained a loyal following, so an art exhibit under the umbrella theme of Wes should be highly entertaining.

Bad Dads will be the inaugural show in a new space from Ken Harman named the LoPo in the lower Polk neighborhood of SF. The exhibit will debut on Saturday, October 30th, coinciding nicely with Halloween celebration. Maybe some Team Zissou action? Just a suggestion.

There are over 60 participating confirmed artists including Munk One, Tatiana Suarez, Carlo Ramos, Evan B Harris, Ana Bagayan, Serge Gay Jr. (whose Life Aquatic piece is pictured above), Little Friends of Printmaking, Audrey Pongracz, Tim Doyle, Becky Dreistadt, Dave Macdowell, and many others.

“We've got over 60 artists so far,” confirms Harman, “and will be offering a healthy mix of original paintings and affordable screen prints at the show, should be lots of fun.”
