Art Brut: Celebration of the Barcelona graffiti scene

 Today, on March 27th twenty of Barcelona’s best street artists will come together at the walls of the Parc de les Tres Ximeneias, in central Barcelona, to paint six large murals that will pay tribute to the quality, distinction and diversity of the Barcelona Scene. Barcelona has been the cradle for a whole lot of great street artists, but has grown calmer lately due to stricter policies and higher fines. This exhibition is intended to remind people that street art is not “crude art” (art brut in Catalan) but a valid and respected art form in itself.
The participating artists include: Sixeart, Boris Hoppek, Dios, Lolo, Sosaku, Ovni, Rodrigo Villas, Sakristan, Hawaii Computers Crew, Sagüe, Owen, Ripo, Zosen, Kafre, Mister and Debens.
