Galleria Patricia Armocida is proud to announce the opening of Always and Never, the first solo exhibition in Italy by Ari Marcopoulos, on March 4th.
For this occasion, Ari Marcopoulos, who is considered one of the most important and respected American photographers of recent generations, will present medium and large format works, including seven never-before-seen photographs and the video Dressage, which was recently shown at MC Kunst in Los Angeles.
Marcopoulos' work is often talked about in the context of his engagement with subcultures (skateboarding, art, music.) Now, nondescript skies and unpopulated landscapes counter the action of extreme sports, the stage, or the street, for which he is most known.
