APE 2009: Alternative Press Expo

 San Francisco’s annual APE (Alternative Press Expo) will be going down this weekend, showcasing have many zines, clothing, prints and more goodies. This is one of the country’s most popular and vibrant alternative comics shows. APE will he held at The Concourse Exhibition Center for two big days of fall fun October 17 and 18, 2009. APE 2009 is shaping up to be another crowd pleaser, with seven special guests having signed on: Jamaica Dyer (courtesy SLG Publishing), Phoebe Gloeckner, Dean Haspiel, Batton Lash, Lark Pien, Dash Shaw, and Jeff Smith.
