Our friend and Sharpie master Angelique Price has been quite the busy bee lately. First recognized on our site for her incredible illustrations done solely in colored Sharpie markers, Price has continued to expand her repertoire quite considerably.
Not only did she win the mosaicglobe.com website contest for traditional art, but she’s got a piece up now at The Hive in LA and her and her little boy have a piece up now at The Gallery at East Atlanta Tattoo. Looks like we may have another budding artist on our hands.
“I found this photograph of Bjork as a baby so I drew her,” Price told Juxtapoz. How many different ways can you say adorable? Well, Price just says it in her usual way: drawing it in Sharpie.
If you appreciate Angelique Price’s unique work as much as we do, stop by her online spots at redbubble.com/people/eliq and on Deviant art. Perhaps it’s the holiday eggnog getting to our heads, but here’s a big shot out to all the incredible artists worldwide that put their all into their craft everyday. You guys inspire us and keep us going; basically you completely rule. Keep rocking, you artsy people. We love ya.
