Favela
An electrical fire started by loose wires destroyed the Diogo Pires Favela in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The fire shook lives and left many homeless, but also pulled a community together through hope. Take a look at the searing images by Brazilian photographers Lost Art to sound in a beautiful photo documentary they compiled.

Ignacio and Louise of Lost Art write, “We photographed the victims of the fire in the Diogo Pires Favela. A sad story in Sao Paulo, but we are happy that publishing the slideshow below has generated a response, with people and companies making donations.”
