The print is printed on a 40-inch, 6-color sheet fed Lithographic press, with a 20″ x 20″ trim size, on 140# Speckletone Cover Stock “Starch White.” That is print talk. We aren't quite sure what to make of this project by Lucas Mongiello, titled 20/20. He places various toys and Happy Meal figures in a capsule, stacked perfectly, and takes photographs of his artificial worlds, making them appear as a bizarre, surreal universe of childhood happiness and collectibles. Mad Magazine is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year, and had a couple special exhibits at Comic Con 2011 to celebrate. One of the exhibits was a group of artist renditions of their infamous Spy Vs. Spy characters. Sam Flores, Sket One, and Abe Lincoln Jr. are just a few of the 30 different artists that they enlisted to work on the project. Read More 
We just got this new book sent to our office, Labeling America: Popular Culture on Cigar Box Labels, and it is a great collection of old commericial artwork and how elaborate tobacco companies used to present their products. The range of years covered are 1849—1971. Read More
