Always keen to keep our readers posted on decent eats situated well beyond the shadow of Lord Nelson’s Column, we replied with an anticipant ‘yes’ when invited down to Streatham to give Chilli Chutney’s Lahori menu a thorough tasting.

London’s First Sherry Bar: Pepito

A sherry bar in London? What a fino idea! And now it’s a reality. Opening today in that same secret courtyard as Spanish restaurant Camino (indeed, they share the same owner), Bar Pepito is a tiny place with a hefty list of 15 sherries, a delectable smattering of tapas and a rustic atmosphere that’ll make you forget you’re mere steps from King’s Cross.

Test Driving Canon’s PowerShot SX210 IS at Mercedes-Benz World

Earlier this week, I was invited by Best Buy (yep, the US mega-chain retailer of electronics is to wash up on these shores) to attend the launch of Canon’s new PowerShot SX210 IS at Mercedes-Benz World in Weybridge for day of camera play and gawking at sleek automobiles. Got all that? Good.
