It’s time for another archived issue of Juxtapoz! Issue 16 dropped in the Fall of 1998 and features Beck & Al Hansen, Keith Haring, Iris Polos, and Shepard Fairey (yes, he made a name for himself long before the Obama poster thing). It’s fascinating to not only read an in-depth article on a man that has become the poster-boy for street art in the past few months, but to also take a look at other ‘emerging’ artists (eg David Choe), covered in the issue's Gallery section, that have gone on to dominate in the contemporary art market.
