We got carried away with all the Obama excitement earlier this week, so we’re just now posting up this week’s installment of archived Juxtapoz issues. We’re bringing it back to Issue 12 now, from 1997. A lot happened toward the end of '97: El Niño ripped through the US, Princess Diana died, and Timothy McVeigh was convicted for his role in the Oklahoma City bombing. It wasn’t all bad though, our Issue 12 from the Fall of 1997 featured the artwork of Masami Teraoka, Derek Hess, Chris Mars, John K, and Georganne Deen, as well as our usual offering of other random, albeit interesting, tidbits on the world of underground art. Read up on Issue 12 online here.
