Juxtapoz Archive: Issue #1
Monday, 03 November 2008

Juxtapoz is coming up on our fifteenth year of publication, so we thought it was high time we shed some light (or page detail) on old school Juxtapoz issues. Our very first edition debuted in Winter 1994, and featured artists: Robert Williams, Big Daddy Roth, Von Dutch, John Pound, and Zap Comix no. 13. The cover of our premiere issue showcases oil on canvas cover art by Robert Williams, Nostradamus and the Astrological Planet Skinner. If you missed the debut edition but have always wanted to take a walk down memory lane (yes, we know it’s practically impossible to get a copy of the first issue these days, even on eBay) here’s your lucky day, as you can now view and read the entire issue online. The first in a series of weekly archived issue releases, take this new opportunity and see where it all began in Issue #1 here now!
