New Book Collages by Alexander Korzer-Robinson

Juxtapoz // Friday, October 26, 2012
Profiled in the magazine in the past, we love the cut-out book collages of Alexander Korzer-Robinson. He says of this work: "By using pre-existing media as a starting point, certain boundaries are set by the material, which I aim to transform through my process. Thus, an encyclopedia can become a window into an alternate world, much like lived reality becomes its alternate in remembered experience."

London-based illustrator Tom Gilmour, finds inspiration in occult imagery, nomadic themes and  black tattoo art. Completed by the talented tattoo artist Brayden Baines, who currently work at Jack of Hearts Tattoo in Lethbridge- in Alberta, Canada. I'm only assuming that this dedication tattoo is out of love of the 1986 zombie horror film Night of the Creeps. Spoooooky.

The Work of Laura Paskevicius

Illustration // Thursday, October 25, 2012
Laura Paskevicius is a freelance illustrator based near Toronto, Ontario, who admittedly listens to songs on repeat until she never wants to hear them again. This repetitive obsession, much like aspects of her illustration style, is a little bit OCD and a little compulsive. He work appears raw and unfiltered- like a stream of consciousness out-pouring and is completed by mixing different mediums, elements of collage and bits of text.
