  Marina Munn was born in Bulgaria in a town by the sea, grew up all over the place and is currently based in the UK. She enjoys drawing and painting various things – but mostly in the form of acrylic paintings and digital illustrations or the odd object picked up from the street. She gets her inspiration from the natural, unnatural and supernatural and everything else that might be lying around.

Each season, NYC-based skate-aesthetic-fashion brand, Supreme teams up with California-based Vans for a special sneaker release. For the Spring/Summer 2013 collaboration, the two brands took the iconic album cover for New Order's 1983 benchmark, Power, Corruption & Lies, and applied it to the Chukka, The Era, and the SK8-Hi.

Choros: A Film By Michael Langan

A great experimental short from an old Juxtapoz friend Michael Langan, in collaboration with Terah Maher. In the film, a chorus of women are borne from the movements of a single dancer in this dreamlike "pas de trente-deux."  "Choros" premiered at Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in 2012 and has gone on to play dozens of festivals worldwide. The film is currently broadcast in Europe by Canal+.

  Thinkspace is pleased to present A Quiet Place, featuring new works by Stephanie Buer and Linnea Strid. Both painters explore the solitudes that define their respective creative practices and subjects. Whether it be the desolation of forgotten urban spaces taking on ghostly traces and pregnant absences, as in Buer’s work, or the personal isolation of the artist and the anxiety of hyper-awareness, as in Strid’s - both artists delve into the recesses of poetic silence and separateness.

Mirrored Canopy in Marseille by Foster + Partners

The brand new 'Port Vieux' pavilion in Marseille, France is a 46x22 meter canopy made from polished stainless steel that reflects the pedestrian area of the harbor and surrounding wharf. Designed by Foster + Partners, the pavilion is part of a move to reclaim civic spaces over the water. 

Michel Gondry Hangs Out at His Favorite Video Store

  In this video directed by Tiffany Limos, Academy Award-winning French director Michel Gondry shows us around his favorite local video store in Paris: La Butte Video Club. Now living in Brooklyn, Gondry laments the absence of video stores these days and reminisces about watching VHS tapes and making videos with his friends.  

Kenny Scharf "Squirtz" Sculpture @ The Standard
