So how about taking an old fashioned portrait, and then adding some contemporary flair to it in the vein of Stacey Page. She embroiders over portraits with her own stitching style, adding a bit of color and humor to an otherwise mundane shot.

Although this billboard has some humorous observations and commentary towards whatever the definition of “hipster” is (We say that because everyone has their own definition), sounding angry never really struck us as a successful marketing tool. DDB China Group was asked to create an outdoor advertisement to urge people to make a change for their environment, such as walk more and drive less.

El Mac for No Doubt "Push And Shove" Album Cover

May 2012 cover artist, El Mac, just completed a nice assignment/project for No Doubt; the album cover of their newest LP, Push and Shove, due in stores on September 18, 2012. Mac painted four acyrlic on wood panels of each band member, and each panel makes the whole of the cover.
