Designs for a Inflatable Trampoline Bridge in Paris

Too good to be true was our initial thought when viewing these images. The French architecture firm, Atelier Zündel Cristea, proposed the following design for a trampoline bridge spanning across the Seine River in Paris. Although it seems highly unrealistic for a city to ever approve such a safety hazard of funness, it is a great idea.

Erotic Plates

The series of erotic plates with 'Clodomiro' is the brainchild of photographer Miro Zagnoli and his daughter, illustrator Olimpia Zagnoli. The duo have created a family-run online shop that features everyday objects which appeal to their taste. Their first project is a series of fine bone china plates with erotically-inspired imagery, conceptualized in Milan and produced in Stoke-On-Trent in the UK.

As part of our continuing series of Friends of Vik Muniz, today we look at director Carlos Saldanha. Carlos Saldanha is an Oscar-nominated Brazilian director of several beloved animated features, including the Ice Age series and his latest success, Rio—a love letter to his hometown. He joined Blue Sky in 1993 after graduating from the MFA program at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Since then, he has been considered one of the most successful directors of animated features in the industry.
