THE PAINTED DESERT PROJECT: EVER

Street Art // Sunday, May 26, 2013
Organized by artists, Yote and Jetsonorama, The Painted Desert Project invited several artists to visit the Navajo country region of Northern Nevada to meet local residents and create murals. Learning of local customs, history, and tradition, the work created here references much of the culture specific to this area. The most recent contribution to this project came from Ever, who painted a merchant stand with two different, highly colorful pieces.

Video and short inteview: Score & Moar in Rio de Janeiro

Graffiti // Sunday, May 26, 2013
We recognized Score had talents for spraying his name on walls, but this video of a recent trip of his to Rio De Janeiro displays his ability to create an entertaining video that documents his travel experiences.  This is certainly not like the majority of graffiti videos being made currently. Set to a thoughtfully chosen soundtrack, this should be motivation to go visit Rio or bet yet, South America as a whole.

Juxtapoz // Saturday, May 25, 2013
Art fairs, especially when you get on the circuit like we have been over the past few years, can be overwhelming. Art Basel Hong Kong is no different. There is a ton to see, lots of new galleries to read up on, maybe some similar artists, but mostly this is a crash course in over 50 Asian galleries that we didn't have first-hand experience with.

We especially love this Game of Thrones ilustration.
