Sometimes you see a series of paintings and just get stuck in a moment of awe. Korean artist, Kim Hyo-Suk, created this incredible series of acrylic paintings, My Floating City, with each painting sizing at around 6-feet x 7-feet.

Following a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and prior to one at Treasure Island Music Festival here in San Francisco, Thom Yorke's Atoms For Peace released a new video for the opening track of their album Amok, "Before Your Very Eyes." Watch Yorke crumble in a flowing stop motion river of, well, you sort of have to watch it for yourself...

Portraits Made From Food, Plants and other Organics by Klaus Enrique

Based on Giuseppe Arcimboldo's 400-year-old paintings, New York-based artist Klaus Enrique constructs figures out of plants and food. "Although most reconginze the images immediately as portraits, there are many people who do not. At first they only see the individual parts of the image: the fruits, flowers, and vegetables...simple organic objects come together to create something more meaningful than the sum of its parts."

The Bird's-Eye View World of Katrine Korfmann

Katrin Korfmann's photographs impressively stand at over 5ft high and are taken from a bird's-eye view from a tremendous height, with the camera often elevated by a crane or operated using a helicam. The shooting can take anywhere from 10 minutes to several hours and she will spend two or three months editing and blending together the 500-2000 shots that make up the final image!

He's a rad dude and he still shoots film, which holds a lot of stock with us. The photos you are about to see were shot this summer during the Pretty Sweet U.S. Tour, as 32 day haul across this fair land. Good dudes, good times.

Former Juxtapoz cover artist and staple of the San Francisco art scene, Tiffany Bozic, will open a new body of work at Fecal Face Dot Gallery on Friday, October 18, 2013. Sense of Wonder will feature Bozic's signature animal canvases, but already in the preview, we see new forms and styles entering the work, with detalied focus on the animal colorings and intense up close shots of multiple animals. Like these owls. Got to love these owls.
