Ben DeHaan's "Uncured" Photographs

This series of photographs by Ben DeHaan entitled "Uncured" features images untreated with UV light. Doing this allows the ink on paper to drip over time. "A digital photograph is simply ink sprayed on substrates to create an exact replication of a digital file. I'm interested in breaking down the image to its inherent properties to reflect on photography's role in constructing its significance." See some fantastic GIFs after the jump...

Nic Wallenberg's Human Speaker

The Human Speaker collar is able to turn one's mouth into a speaker. It bypasses the vocal chords and transmits vibrations directly into the upper throat so wearers can play music by only moving their lips and mouth. Since the collar can only produce up to two music notes, the collar's compositions can become more complex the more people using it come together. Watch a video after the jump...

Born in Seoul, South Korea, Xooang Choi works in sculpture and isntallation, creating painted polymer clay figures that often literally illustrate metaphorical terms of abuse in Korean. Xooang received her MFA in Sculpture from the National University in Seoul.

Emilio Barnes aka Ultrafry is an artist from London specializing in black and white handcrafted pattern design, characters and lettering. 'A lot of my recent work is influenced by my personal experiences of the ‘Sleep Paralysis’ phenomenon - a condition of sleep disorder, night terrors and hallucinations; a case of which I frequently suffer from. Other elements of my artwork are inspired by Eastern cultural design, all things fantasy, astronomy, girls and confectionary.'
